Dream Biloela

About the Competition

What’s one thing you would change about Biloela? For a chance to win cash prizes, present your dream for Biloela in any art form you choose. Options include visual art, dance, drama, music, written word, and anything else you can think of.

Even better than the cash prizes, your dream could become a reality in Biloela. The artworks you create will be part of the Finding our Future workshop on the 28th of November. At the end of this workshop, we want to work together with young people to make Biloela a better place.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of artwork can I submit?

You can submit anything! As long as you can deliver it to our office or submit it online you can enter it!

I'm 12, how can I compete against a 25 year old?

Your age will be written down on the entry forms and we will take that into account when we pick the winner. We are really looking for creativity, which you can have at any age.

I don't know what my dream is?

It might help if you think about a problem you have at the moment and try to solve that for all young people in Biloela. It could also help to think about what you love about Biloela, and focus on making that even better!

Can someone help me with my artwork?

This is a really tricky question because your chosen artwork may mean you need help from someone else.

The most important thing is that the ideas are your own and the artistic elements are done by you. So it’s fine to get your friends to act in a video because you wrote the script and you’re telling them how to play the character. But it wouldn’t be okay if your teacher wrote the script and you submitted that as your own idea.

I want to help make my dream a reality. How do I do that?

A really good first step would be coming to the Finding our Future workshop on the 28th of November. It will be lots of fun and a great way to start getting involved. If you are interested in attending, email us at admin@cqrdgp.com.au
